Casa Jimenez - Claremont: Authentic Mexican Cuisine with Great Value and Friendly Service

Had the all you can eat meal which was a really good deal at only $12.50 per person which included soup or salad and I wide array of choices. I had beef taco, chili relleno, and the chili Verde all which were tasty and freshly made. Staff was super friendly and attentive. A great bargain for the buck in a cozy spot with good food.

I think I know why they're closed now. The owner wanted to double the price of the rent to them. Jarritos Mexican restaurant from Pomona lost their restaurant due to going to be demolished. Now jarritos is going to take over this restaurant maybe knowing or not knowing that the other owner was forced out so they can be in because the owner doesn't like them.

It used to be a nice Mexican restaurant. I would usually pass by this establishment, when I lived in the area. So, one time, in May of 2024, after I left work, I decided to have my dinner, in this establishment. The meal, that I have ordered, was Chicken in Mole sauce, and oh boy, it was delicious. The price for it was in the ranger of $15 - $20, not including the tip. The waitress, who attended my table, was helpful, and attentive. At the same time, the service was prompt. Of course, I cannot forget to mention, that there was ample of space, to sit down, and enjoy a meal. At the same time, the tables were neat. Sadly, when I visited this place again, in September, it was looking for new landlords. Hopefully, they will find another landlord in Claremont, and continue to serve the City of Claremont, with delicious Mexican cuisine.

Heartbroken, to say the least . I've never had a bad experience here. My family and I have been going since I was four, most of the same staff still works there which is great ! Food is great and affordable!

It is a nice, and typical, Mexican restaurant. This one is located near Sprouts Farmers Market, in Claremont. I have visited this establishment, only once, in May of 2024. I came here, after work, to have my dinner. Since I live close by, I thought to visit this restaurant. The meal, that I have ordered was Chicken Mole, and for dessert I have ordered flan. If my memory serves me well, those meals were delicious. At the same time, the prices, too, were not on the expensive side. I have paid $28.00, with a tip. Furthermore, the place was neat. Without neatness, there was ample of space, to sit down, and enjoy a meal. Of course, when I came, it was the middle of the week. So, I am not familiar with weekend service. Still, if anyone is in the Pomona/Claremont area, I would recommend to visit this restaurant. It is conveniently located on Foothill Boulevard.

I’ve recently tried Casa Jimenez having breakfast with my pops and it was very good. The first time I visited I had tried their Machaca burrito and that was pretty fantastic. I visited again today and tried their huevos rancheros with beans and rice… Can someone say delicious?! I ordered it with corn tortillas and an horchata. It set me perfectly! It wasn’t to heavy just the right amount of food. I’ve heard the hype about Casa Jimenez over the years and they have multiple locations from what I understand. Trying it for my self, I’d say it was definitely good not my favorite but good. Stop in and give ‘em a try if you’re feeling Mexican food. Happy eating fam!
